If your Christmas turned out the way the marketing men intended….. Then you’ll be reading this right now thinking “what have I done to myself?” Not to worry, help is on it’s way in the form of our Orange and Kale Alkalinity Booster.

Why drink Kale and Orange juice, I hear you cry? Well, if you’ve been binge eating and over-drinking, the chances are that your system is going to be acidic and your PH levels need to be brought back into balance, one great way of doing this is by eating more fruits and vegetables. Kale and Oranges both promote alkalinity in your system and they taste great together so why not give it a try.

Kale

Simply put. Kale is one of the most alkaline foods you can get. Packed with vitamins, nutrients and disease fighting compounds like glucosinolates, Kale is one of the best things you can put in your juice or on your plate. Read more about Kale and it’s health benefits HERE

Oranges

Aren’t Oranges acidic? Not so fast!

Oranges do contain a lot of Citric acid but they are still considered an alkalising fruit. Once the body has digested the Orange juice it becomes alkaline and is then absorbed by the body.

The levels of acidity in the Orange can differ depending on the variety, their ripeness and where in the world they come from but they are still considered Alkaline and the taste does a great job of masking the strong veggie taste of the Kale.
