Melon Cucumber Weight Control Smoothie

Ever wondered what the perfect Smoothie is for keeping control of your bodyweight? Well I’m going to show you right now! Melon Cucumber weight control smoothie is the perfect combination for getting your weight under control and keeping it there.

How can such a simple Smoothie be so effective? Well, it’s low in calories, high in vitamins, minerals and nutrients and will keep you from being hungry all the time because it contains lots of healthy dietary fibre.

Melon Cucumber Goodness

This great little Smoothie is packed with healthy goodness that helps with gut issues like constipation and bloating, helps to stop inflammation in the body and even helps strengthen your Finger Nails! Not only that, Cucumber and Melons can protect against some forms of estrogen-related cancers, including cancers of the breast, ovary, uterus, and prostate.

So it’s Healthy, Tasty, Relatively cheap and Easy to make so why not give it a try?

Cut your Melon

Take your Melon and with a large bladed sharp knife cut it into two equal portions.

Remove the seeds from the Melon

Take a spoon and scoop out the seeds of the Melon.

Remove the Melons skin

Cut the half Melon into 4 equal strips

With a sharp flat bladed knife cut along the inside of the skin to remove the fruit. Once you have removed the skin cut the strips of Melon into cubes and add them to your blender.

Prepare the Cucumber

Take one whole Cucumber and cut it in half

Remove the skin with a Potato peeler

Cut the Cucumber into chunks to make it easier to blend

Load everything into your blender

Pop the Cucumber into the blender jug along with the Melon and add half a cup of water to help with the blending process

Blend, Pour and Enjoy

So that's all you have to do! Throw it all in the blender and turn it on.

I let the blender run for a long time on this one because my Melon was quite firm and I didn't want lumps in the smoothie.
